5) Kaeto stands roughly six feet tall, fairly high for his people, though this is not the only unusual aspect of his appearance. Cold piercing black eyes stare out eerily lined with dark bags, the kind you get from lack of sleep, which looks wholly out of place on his otherwise handsome olive toned complexion. Shoulder-length black hair falls neatly around his face, which is usually composed, conveying no emotion. Kaeto sometimes wears long flowing black robes concealing his dark armour adorned with all kinds of ancient symbols and runes, which skitter across the metal in a mass of intricate patterns. A vicious blade hangs from his hip, with his left hand resting on its gilded hilt. He carries himself with a dignified pride, easily mistaken for arrogance. Despite his outward appearance, he speaks with a deep, almost friendly voice and a hidden kindness can be seen deep in his dark eyes. He seems to bare no prejudices to those of other races or religion, due to his multicultural upbringing in Tarantia. Though he does have a general distain for those less educated than himself, yet he rarely makes this noticeable. He clearly makes a conscious effort to not let anything anger him, almost as if he’s afraid of what he might awaken.
6) Kaeto grew up on a small farm just outside Tarantia, where he was brought up into a poor yet very affectionate family. Never satisfied, Kaeto took what money he had, and at the age of 15, left his household in search of a better life. For the next ten years Kaeto studied under various mentors accumulating a wide knowledge as he was often praised as a gifted learner. At the age of 26 he met a young Stygian woman named Shiva, who he fell wildly in love with. Within the year, the two were engaged. They decided to return to Shiva’s homeland for the wedding, as Kaeto now held little ties to his family, and Shiva longed to see her own.
During the long journey south, the loving couple was ambushed, left with little more than the clothes on their back; their situation was dire, stranded without supplies. Driven by a combination of desperation and bitterness at his own inability to defend his fiancé and belongings, Kaeto, turned to dark scriptures he had read as a child, and in the dead of night, he forged a frightful pact with a child of the underworld. Kaeto used his new powers lavishly, so that after five years he had more than tripled what he had previously owned. This of course all came at a high price, Shiva and Kaeto found themselves slowly drifting apart, so that it seemed not even the recent birth of their daughter would keep them together.
Eventually, during one frosty winter night, the demon took what was rightfully his. Kaeto awoke a few days later, lying face down in a putrid pool of his servants’, wife’s and child’s blood. Kaeto fled. Driven practically to madness, plagued by the faces of his slain loved ones, Kaeto did all he could to struggle free of the demon’s malicious grasp. Clinging to what happy memories he had Kaeto did manage to regain sanity, and some of his humanity. Though the demon remained.
Kaeto has spent the last year of his life traveling, in search of something he would never find. Never did he seek battle, though it seemed to follow him like some unwelcome stray, until it became as much a necessity to him as the very air be breathes. In battle, Kaeto does his best to fight with honour and is always unnervingly calm, no matter who his opponent may be. This, sometimes foolish bravery however, is but a simple mask which Kaeto uses to hide from his own past and what he could have become.
7) If asked, Kaeto will claim that he wishes to join the house because he believes them to be a group of honourable, like minded people who’s cause he deems a worthy one to live and die by. Though truly, Kaeto hopes, that by joining the house of the new dawn he will achieve the ‘balance’ within himself that members of the house speak of. Also Kaeto believes that by fighting for a cause he believes in, he will attain some portion of redemption and hopefully the bravery needed to face up to past and what he truly is.

as for an explanation for the eyes, well yeah, i will play DT, though tbh i haven't thought too hard about it, kinda thought it was cool at the time^^. I'll think of one. And Ravil, i was referring to when i played in the clan of Damak in hotrs in WoW.
